Entrapment

Everyone gets it eventually the lack of inspiration feeling trapped in there own little cage. This piece was made when i was feeling down not being able to articulate my thoughts. The piece plays between the ideas of darkness and lighting, yet is quite repressed as the cage is suspended in midair. The little red bird is a self portrait of myself. I was thinking of making this piece an animation however i need to think of a storyline or narrative to go with it.
